Alpine Pearl - Nova Levante - Alto Adige

Nova Levante (Welschnofen) is surrounded by the region of Rosengarten and Latemar, known for the unique Alpine glow at sunset. The highest wooded peak in Europe, the whole region is crossed by a network of hiking trails.

Empress Elisabeth, Sigmund Freud and Winston Churchill all spent their holidays here at the legendary Karer Lake - with a wonderful view over Rosengarten and Latemar.

Today, for soft-mobile tourists, there is a regular bus service and a hiking bus service which, in the future, will also operate in early and late season.
