GP: Pedestrian collisions and conflicts analysis at non-signal controlled pedestrian crossings - Czech PDF Print E-mail

The project is a part of the research plan "Reduction of the number and severity of road accidents".
The project aimed to specify and analyse pedestrians problems, design road safety measures at concrete sites of the road network, develop and recommend system solutions to eliminate problems at sites of higher pedestrian accident rate.
In the course of the project, pedestrian black spots and pedestrian crossing of various traffic and engineering parameters were identified, defined and consequently analysed.

Expected Benefits:

System solutions contributing to reduce the number and severity of pedestrian road accidents.

Planned Course and Objectives:

* Road safety measures at pedestrian crossings
* Overview of the road safety measures effectiveness
